First Regiment Engineer Troops. P.A.C.S.

What’s a P.A.C.S. ?  This is a question I’m often asked. P.A.C.S. is simply the Provisional Army of the Confederate States, in other words the regulars.  The original regiment was not state troops. This regiment contained men from all Southern states, several from Northern states and even from Europe. As in keeping with the original regiment we have members from up and down the eastern seaboard.  We are one of the best, if not the best, teams in the N-SSA.

Anyone is welcome to join as long as he/she shoots.  Although we have an excellent campsite, food that can’t be equaled anywhere, one of the team members is a chef and the other is a chef in all but title, and great camaraderie, our main reason for existing is to shoot.

The firing line is the heart of our team.  There is no greater fun than shooting “Civil War” revolvers, smootherbore, carbine, and musket against the clock.

As I said the vast majority are welcome, come over, chat, have coffee or a meal with us and see what we’re like.  Who knows, in a short while you may be one of the best---
